That silly face they make, the sparkle in their eyes, their uninhibited giggle.  That is what I strive to capture. My clients are looking for something different than the typical department store portrait of their child, and I enjoy providing a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience that is more like a play date then a photo shoot. My approach to child photography is natural, candid and photojournalistic. There’s no pressure to get the “perfect shot”, dragging your children to the mall during nap time, no waiting in line, and no forced smiles!  I like to give children plenty of time to warm up to me and get used to my camera.  During children and family portrait sessions I take a mixture of formal and candid shots.  I capture all of the little details.  Sessions are spontaneous, relaxed, and fun!  Many clients tell me that they have fond memories of the session itself.  The result is fine art photographs that you will treasure forever.
