This lovely couple was in town from Germany and took the opportunity get their maternity photos done. We were set for a beach shoot, but as we approached the dark clouds were setting in. We got started but soon were told to leave by the lifeguards. Lucky for us, there was another beach close by unsupervised by lifeguards so we were able to finish up, and didn’t even get a drop of rain. On the way the mom spotted a beautiful banyan and we took the opportunity to get some lovely pregnancy photos with the tree, but this too was cut a bit short by the hungry mosquitos. Between the three locations, we got lovely shots that these two will treasure forever. It is rare these days that I do a maternity photo shoot without getting to meet the newborn, but alas these two are headed back to Germany so I won’t be able to meet their little bundle of joy. I guess I’ll forgive them

It was all about little Enzo for this shoot. We had the whole family there for their portraits too, but when it comes down to it, we all just want pictures of the baby, right! He could not have been cuter. With those beautiful blue eyes and sweet disposition, he really lit up the camera. I’m looking forward to photographing this little guy and the family again soon.

I went out to this lovely couple’s home for their maternity photo shoot. I’m usually at the beach or park for this type of shoot so it was a refreshing change. Can you believe the mom is due in less then a month? She’s tiny! Well I for one can’t wait to meet the little one. We’ll be doing the newborn photos in June and I look forward to sharing them all with you soon. Here’s a sneak peak from the maternity photo session. Enjoy!

Miami baby photographer | Beautiful Sunny Isles shoot

I headed up to Sunny Isles to photograph this adorable baby boy. He was such a champ as we photographed all over the building from the lobby, to the spa, to the beach. I love this age as they can sit and crawl around a bit, but are not walking or running yet. I always encourage people to photograph babies (pre-walking) as it is a great age. They’ve still got their baby chub and will pretty much stay put (making my job much easier ) Here’s a sneak peak for this lovely family.

Miss B was so sleepy and sweet for her photo shoot. I usually shoot newborns in their birthday suit, but mom brought a special dress for her and I love how angelic she looks sleeping in her dress on the white backdrop. I have a crazy busy schedule coming up these next few weeks, but I’m determined to keep up with the blogging and sharing with all of my amazing fans.

When I started Stephanie Anders Photography three years ago, I had no idea that it would be my full time career. What started out as a fun hobby, blossomed into a full-blown passion. I owe much of the passion for photography to my two children. They inspire me everyday. Recently I have been so busy photographing everyone else’s families, that I have not been photographing enough of my own. Earlier this week, when the kids were already in their PJ’s, I looked outside, saw the gorgeous light, and decided to go out for a walk. I got them changed and we headed out to enjoy the evening. My husband was working late so I decided to take my camera along and take pictures of the kids enjoying the neighborhood. We live in Coconut Grove Florida and the landscape is extremely lush and tropical. It provides a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Here are a few of my favorites from this spontaneous photoshoot. I have already decided to turn these photos into a big canvas collection for the wall in my family room. This sweet pea is two weeks old. Once fed, she passed out and stayed asleep for the entire session. I had another fun session posing and trying out some new props. She looks so pretty in pink and purple, don’t you think? And look at those pursed lips…so kissable!
