Happy new year everyone! I hope you had a lovely holiday season filled with family, love and laughter. I know the holidays can be a little hectic, but for me it’s always worth it in the end. I decided to take time off from my photography business to be with my family. It was the first time in 6 years that I’d closed my business for two weeks. I loved disconnecting and having some free time with family. It was a mix of a “staycation” in Miami and also a little getaway to Jupiter, Florida to stay with my parents. I also celebrated a birthday over the holidays and got a lovely evening out with my hubby for some sushi.

I have so many fantastic photo shoots to share from the holiday season, but nothing was cuter then this 8 week old cockapoo named Oreo. A cockapoo is a mix of a cocker spaniel and a poodle. I was ready to take this little fur ball home with me, but thankfully it belongs to a close friend so I get to see him often. Since he was a surprise from Santa, he was photographed in a sleigh by their tree. I only wish I could have photographed the kids expressions when they met their new best friend!
