I was contacted by an expecting mom in the Bahamas interested in flying me over to be her Bahamas maternity photographer in Nassau, Bahamas. After working out a few logistics, we were able to make it happen. Living in Miami, FL, getting to the Bahamas is just a hop skip and a jump! I landed at 11am and quickly made my way to her home. We went through wardrobe to get her looks sorted out, then she went into hair and make-up. I brought with me a hair and make-up person who was fabulous (contact me if you want her contact info).  I then spent some time scouting her beautiful property for the best spots to do her photos at sunset. After figuring out where I was going to shoot, I settled in to enjoy the afternoon. By 5pm my client was all ready and looking gorgeous. I had been hoping for some clouds to move in to pick up the sunset colors and right on schedule, mother nature delivered me a perfect smattering of clouds.

The photoshoot couldn’t have gone any smoother. The stars aligned for the most gorgeous maternity photoshoot ever. Beautiful sky, beautiful beach, and beautiful mother-to-be. What more could I ask for. I feel so lucky to have been chosen to be her photographer. It was a magical trip resulting in magical pregnancy photos. I’m already looking forward to going back for her baby photos!
