It was a beautiful evening in Virginia Key for a photo shoot. Being there at sunset during the week we had the beach to ourselves. What threw me off was that the main beach where I usually shoot was closed so we had to go to a side beach. The location was still spectacular, but I was not as familiar with the wooded entrance to get to the beach. At 8pm when we wrapped up the shoot, we started to make our way through the woods and realized that we were lost. We were losing light and the mosquitos were terrible, but we managed to make it out 1/2 hour later. Thankfully they were troopers and we ended up with some amazing shots.
