Miami Maternity Photographer | Always an adventure

This lovely couple was in town from Germany and took the opportunity get their maternity photos done. We were set for a beach shoot, but as we approached the dark clouds were setting in. We got started but soon were told to leave by the lifeguards. Lucky for us, there was another beach close by unsupervised by lifeguards so we were able to finish up, and didn’t even get a drop of rain. On the way the mom spotted a beautiful banyan and we took the opportunity to get some lovely pregnancy photos with the tree, but this too was cut a bit short by the hungry mosquitos. Between the three locations, we got lovely shots that these two will treasure forever. It is rare these days that I do a maternity photo shoot without getting to meet the newborn, but alas these two are headed back to Germany so I won’t be able to meet their little bundle of joy. I guess I’ll forgive them 🙂

Not every day is spent behind the camera. ☕💻

Today is an editing day—sorting through galleries, perfecting images, and putting the finishing touches on your memories. The photoshoot may only last an hour or two, but the work that happens afterward is where the magic comes together.

Back to editing! ✨

Those tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, and delicate newborn features change so quickly. My newborn sessions feature soft, simple posing with timeless wraps, neutral backdrops, and classic colors that keep the focus on your baby.

The best time for a newborn session is within the first 2 weeks after birth, when babies are sleepiest and most flexible for those classic newborn poses.

Don’t miss this fleeting stage. Once it’s gone, you can never get it back. 🤍

Whether you’re dreaming of a timeless studio maternity session or beautiful portraits outdoors at sunrise, now is the perfect time to book your maternity photoshoot.

The best time to schedule your session is between 28–34 weeks, when your baby bump is beautifully visible and you’re still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.

My studio offers a relaxed, climate-controlled environment with access to my maternity wardrobe, while outdoor sessions provide gorgeous natural scenery and light. No matter which you choose, we’ll create images that celebrate this incredible chapter of your life.

Reach out early to reserve your date—I can’t wait to help you remember this special time. 💕
