Baby Liam recently visited the studio for his Miami newborn photography session, and it was such a beautiful morning capturing his first portraits. As a Miami newborn photographer, I love documenting these early days when babies are still tiny, sleepy, and naturally curl into those sweet newborn poses parents love.
Liam was just a few days old when he came in for his session, which is the ideal time for newborn photography. During those first couple of weeks, babies tend to sleep deeply and settle comfortably into the classic newborn poses that create timeless images.
Baby Liam’s Session
Liam was an absolute dream throughout his newborn session. We started with some simple wrapped portraits using soft blue tones and neutral textures to keep the focus on his tiny features.
From there we moved into some of my signature posed images on the beanbag. Liam curled up beautifully and slept peacefully, allowing us to capture those classic newborn portraits that families treasure for years.
One of the sweetest moments during the session was when Liam gave us the tiniest sleepy smile. Those little expressions always melt parents’ hearts and make the images even more special.
We also incorporated a few prop setups, including a wooden bowl layered with soft knit blankets. These setups add variety to the gallery while still keeping the look simple and timeless.
Of course, we finished the session with family portraits. These images are often the most meaningful because they capture the love and emotion of those first days together as a new family.
When Liam’s parents saw their gallery, they loved the images so much that they chose several ways to preserve them, including a custom heirloom album, framed wall art for their home, and loose prints for family members. They’ve also already scheduled Liam’s milestone session, and I’m so excited to photograph him again as he grows.

Booking Your Miami Newborn Photography Session
Newborn photography sessions are best scheduled during pregnancy so a tentative spot can be reserved around your due date. Once your baby arrives, we finalize the session date within the first two weeks when newborns are sleepiest and most comfortable for posing.
These early days pass so quickly, and newborn portraits become some of the most treasured images families have.
