I love the challenge of newborn photography. Its can be hard enough to get one to sleep and then posed, but two is twice as hard and twice as fun! So I was pleasantly surprised when these two appeared to be on the same sleep schedule. We were able to move through the different set-ups and get some amazing snuggly pictures of them together. Can you believe one of these girls was only 4 lbs! That is my smallest newborn to date. Her “big sister” is 6lbs. What a difference 2 lbs makes on newborns. The shots below on the purple blanket, it actually looks like it is a bigger sister cradling a younger sister. Hard to believe they are twins born minutes apart. I’m particularly proud of the outside basket shot. It just melts my heart to get newborn photos like that and hope the family treasures it for years to come.
