I recently had the pleasure of photographing an amazing girl and her family. Bella is nine years old and fighting cancer for the 4th time. Her parents, Shannah and Ray, manage to stay amazingly strong and positive for their two children. For more than 4 years, this family has been dealing with countless treatments, grafts, operations, doctors’ visits, the receipt of good news & bad news, and an emotional roller coaster that most of us cannot begin to imagine. Despite all that is going on, they were able to focus on family, smiles, laughs and kisses for this photo shoot. I hope that during these hard times, these photos will bring a smile to their faces and that they will cherish these for years to come.
