Capture those precious first few days of life with professional newborn baby pictures that you’ll treasure for years to come.

The newborn sessions are done in my Coral Gables, Florida studio which is stocked with all of the props and accessories we will need. The most precious time to photograph a newborn baby is within two weeks of birth. The way they look so small in your arms or curl up perfectly in your neck, their tiny little toes, and the gentle way that they breathe and coo. During this time babies will usually retain some of the natural curl from when they were in mommy’s tummy. Newborn babies are also more sleepy and pliable for the most desired poses. Your curling, sleeping newborn will make for the most memorable and meaningful baby pictures.

After two weeks newborn babies usually hit a growth spurt and much of the session is spent feeding rather than taking pictures so ideally we try to schedule the photo shoot before the baby is two weeks old. Unfortunately, the first two weeks after your baby is born are the ones that go by in a flash! For this reason, I really encourage expectant parents to contact me ahead of time about a newborn photography session. If you’ve already delivered, don’t worry, please reach out and I’ll do my best to fit you in.

Mom, dad and siblings are welcome to join for pictures with baby at no extra charge. Sessions usually last 2 hours and there is no rush with a newborn photography session. I like to give special attention to each client, especially newborn baby sessions. I do not mind waiting for you to nurse/feed baby, or taking a break to soothe your baby. After each newborn session I am sure to launder all of my backdrops and other items the baby comes in contact with. This is included in the session fee for a newborn photo shoot.
