The biggest mistake families make with holiday photos? Waiting until November to book them. 🎄📸

November is actually one of my favorite times of year for family photos in Miami. The temperatures are more comfortable, the sunsets are earlier, and the light is beautiful.

The problem? By the time November arrives, many of the best dates are already taken.

If you’re hoping to update your family portraits this fall—or have beautiful photos ready for your holiday cards—now is the time to get your October or November session on the calendar.

And you don’t need to have everything figured out before you book.

You don’t need to know exactly what everyone is wearing.
You don’t need to have your location picked.
You don’t need to have your holiday cards designed.

Start by securing your date. We can figure out all of those details together afterward.

October and November are some of my busiest months for family sessions, especially as we get closer to the holidays, and weekend availability goes quickly.

If family photos have been sitting on your fall to-do list, this is your reminder. 🤍

Your photos deserve more than a spot on your camera roll. 🤍

There’s something different about seeing the people you love on the walls of your home every day.

A framed photograph becomes part of your family’s story—and more meaningful with time, because those little faces don’t stay little for long.

Digital files are wonderful to have. But the photographs on your walls are the ones you actually get to live with.

Print your photos. Frame them. Enjoy them every single day. 🤍

Studio or beach? 🤍

Same pose. Two completely different maternity looks.

If you’re trying to decide which setting is right for your maternity session, think less about which one is “better” and more about how you want your photos to feel.

✨ STUDIO
Clean, polished and timeless.
The focus is completely on you — your shape, your expression, your connection. Studio sessions also give us more control over lighting and allow for several different looks without worrying about heat, wind or weather.

🌊 BEACH
Soft, natural and romantic.
You get movement from the breeze, gorgeous natural light and a more organic, effortless feeling. Miami sunrise sessions are especially beautiful (and much more comfortable!).

One studio session. So many possibilities.

One of the things I love most about photographing maternity sessions in the studio is how much variety we can create. From soft and timeless to bold and dramatic, every image has its own unique feel while keeping the focus where it belongs—on this incredible season of your life.

If you’ve been dreaming of maternity photos but aren’t sure a studio session is right for you, I hope these images show just how versatile it can be.

Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–34 weeks, and I recommend booking early to ensure availability.

AI is becoming a fun tool in photography—but it’s just that... a tool.

Swipe to see the difference. ➡️

The first image is an AI-enhanced version of Nico’s birthday portrait. The second is the original photograph that was created in my studio. The lighting, the expression, the pose, and the moment are all real. AI simply added a whimsical background to create a storybook feel.

I love offering both options because they each have their place. Some families prefer clean, timeless portraits that will never go out of style. Others love a little extra magic. There’s no right or wrong—it’s all about what fits your family’s style.

My goal will always be to create beautiful photographs first. From there, we can decide whether to keep them classic, add a touch of creativity, or enjoy a mix of both.

Happy 1st Birthday, Nico! 🧸🎈
