The Ladies of Project Nursery

I was so excited when Melisa Fluhr of Project Nursery contacted me that she and her partner Pam Ginocchio were coming to Miami and wanted to get updated team photos for their website. If you don’t know what Project Nursery is, you have to go check them out: http://projectnursery.com/ They are an inspiration website for your baby’s nursery and beyond. Their website and blog are constantly being updated with the latest trends and resources for the interior decorator inside of you who wants to come out and design a beautiful room for your child.

After their shoot at South Beach, I got to shoot some more of them at their booth at the Biggest Baby Shower in Miami where I was also an exhibitor. It was a great event for all. I’m looking forward to working these ladies in the future on some special projects they have in the works. In the meantime, here are the wonderful ladies of Project Nursery.

Sometimes the smallest stories hold the most strength 💛

This sweet baby boy spent his first weeks in the NICU after arriving a little earlier than expected. His parents invited me in to capture those tiny details—the fingers wrapped around theirs, the peaceful moments in between the beeps and wires, the love that filled that room.

I’m so happy to share that he’s home now, healthy and thriving—and we just finished his newborn session in the studio (stay tuned for those photos!).

Every family’s journey looks a little different, and it’s an honor to help preserve these first chapters. 💫

What’s one moment of your life you wish you had a photo of?
For me, it’s my second pregnancy. I didn’t do professional photos that time, and I wish I had something beautiful to look back on from that season of life.

That’s why I love capturing sessions like this one — a couple in the studio, full of excitement and anticipation as they get ready to meet their first baby. These images will hold all the emotion of this moment forever — the love, the connection, the quiet joy before everything changes. 💫

🌆 I’m originally from New York City—but Miami’s light and color have completely stolen my heart and shaped my photography style.

💼 I worked a corporate job at Bacardi for 10 years before discovering my passion for photography and starting my own business.

📚 I was a psychology major in college—I’ve always been fascinated by people and how they connect, which really influences my photography.

❤️ Both of my kids have red hair—even though my husband and I are both brunettes!

💃 When I’m not behind the camera, I’m moving!
