You never know what you are going to get when you show up at someone’s house for a newborn photoshoot. I was lucky enough this past weekend to have the stars align for as close to perfect as you can get to an on location newborn photoshoot. Baby Lucas slept virtually the entire time, their house had beautiful light, and they had the most perfect bench for this type of photography. Thanks to Adriana and Jeff for inviting me in and letting me capture their beautiful baby boy in their lovely home.

The first image is an AI-enhanced version of Nico’s birthday portrait. The second is the original photograph that was created in my studio. The lighting, the expression, the pose, and the moment are all real. AI simply added a whimsical background to create a storybook feel.
I love offering both options because they each have their place. Some families prefer clean, timeless portraits that will never go out of style. Others love a little extra magic. There’s no right or wrong—it’s all about what fits your family’s style.
My goal will always be to create beautiful photographs first. From there, we can decide whether to keep them classic, add a touch of creativity, or enjoy a mix of both.
