I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful maternity photoshoot for a lovely family. They traveled all the way from Haiti to Miami to work with me. It’s always an honor to have clients put their trust in me to capture such special moments in their lives. In this blog post I posted 10 Stunning Maternity Photoshoot Ideas. We got many more, but these are some of my favorites.
During the shoot, we had a lot of fun experimenting with different wardrobe and fabric changes. I created a variety of looks and feels for the photos. One of my favorite moments from the shoot was when we decided to try a wet fabric look. We wanted to capture a sense of movement and fluidity. We sprayed the fabric with water and draped it over the mother-to-be’s belly. The effect was stunning, and it was a beautiful representation of the idea of new life and growth.
This pregnant mama had lots of her own ideas and I was happy to incorporate them into the session. I’m including 10 Stunning Maternity Photoshoot Ideas that you can pin and save for your maternity photoshoot. I’ve got all of the fabrics you see in the photos below, she just brought the jeans and bra.
Throughout the shoot, I could feel the love and excitement radiating from the family. It was clear that they were overjoyed to be celebrating this special moment in their lives. I was honored to be a part of it. As a photographer, there’s nothing more fulfilling than capturing the pure joy and happiness of my clients.
In the end, we captured some truly stunning photos that the family will treasure for a lifetime. I feel grateful to have been a part of such a special moment in their lives. I’m proud to have been able to create images that will bring them joy for years to come.
