I recently went on vacation to Colorado with my family and decided to do family portraits while we were there. Since I wanted to be in the photos too I started looking online to find a photographer that could capture some beautiful portraits and candid moments for us in the mountains around Denver, CO. I was so happy when I stumbled upon Virginia Stiles Photography. I knew from her beautiful portfolio on her website that she was the one so I went ahead and booked the session.

As soon as we confirmed the date I starting planning my family’s wardrobe. Being a photographer myself I knew that wardrobe could make or break the photos so I gathered some pieces we had already, and shopped for a few more items to complete the look. I put together this “what to wear” board to make sure the whole look would tie together nicely. After sending my wardrobe ideas to Virginia for her opinion, she found a beautiful quilt for us to use in some of the photos.

The session was wonderful and the photos turned out better then I could have imagined. I’m so thankful for finding Virginia and for her capturing this beautiful time for us. I am going to treasure the photos forever.
